What makes these fins so special?
Esclapez makes these fins in 5 different stiffnesses, allowing you to purchase a fin designed for your power and desired use...
As you can see from the photo, the length of freediving fins like the Esclapez fins is one and a half, to even twice as long as fins normally used for scuba. Also unlike normal scuba diving fins, these fins are extremely flexible.
The most flexible model (softest) was designed for freedivers who would stay in the water for 8 hours at a time, so they needed something that would not tire them out. For Scuba divers who want to be able to keep up with other divers, but have trouble with fitness, or just plain don't feel like working when they are diving, the softest fins are the ideal choice.

On the far other end of the equation, the stiffest fin (still far more flexible than traditional scuba fins) is designed for much more speed and greater depth in a shorter time period (i.e., one hour versus eight hours like the softest fins). Enormous R&D went into these fins, and the material and design creates far more thrust with less effort than any fin on the market today for even twice the price----and these top end Esclapez fins are'nt cheap---they go for three hundred dollars!!!

This is a very low volume mask, with excellent peripheral vision as you might expect for use by freedivers, but the unique feature is the soft comfort this mask provides---whether you wear it for 8 hours at a time, or are trying to snorkel to deeper depths, and have had face pain from the mask compressing on your face---this mask has been designed to fix these problems.
