Macro Photography Classes: Learning to See (For the first time)

A typical Nikonos macro photo set-up: a 28 mm. lens with 1:2 extension tube set-up with a wire framer..
As one of our students at Dive USA is demonstrating, this proportion and extension tube causes what is positioned in the framer to show up 1/2 its' size on a picture. It is also what we use for our regular classes..
Macro photography classes are fun because beginning students can generally take some memorable photos, even while right in our "outdoor classroom".
The class moves quickly from academic theory and camera set-up, to controlled open water environments. Dive USA's Macro Photography Laboratory/underwater classroom is under the Blue Heron Blvd. bridge, a short walk from our facility on Singer Island.
